Are there any active or near completion projects similar to Slicify (slicify.com) which allow users to buy and sell VPSs in exchange for BTC? If not, would it be worth developing one? Or something similar like a cluster cloud where users can buy an instance combining the power of multiple nodes? Would anyone want to assist in the development? Edit: For clarification purposes, I don't mean hosting companies, I am talking about a distributed compute cloud working in a market environment.
So right now my company is going through some infrastructure changes. Weirdly enough we've been buying things more in bitcoin since it has worked out cheaper. So my question is does anyone know of a good, reliable VPS vendor that accepts bitcoin? I want somewhere that has been around for a while, I don't want to buy a service through a proxy buyer and it also needs to be cost effective vs the normal rates on DO or Linode.
